Premiere at Villa Rothschild
Hank M. Flemming presents his new solo program "Von hinter der Fichte" (From Behind the Spruce Tree)
Königstein im Taunus, February 11 –On February 11, starting at 7 p.m., Villa Rothschild will be the stage for a special premiere evening: Playwright and psychologistHank M. Flemmingwill celebratethe premiereof his new solo program"Von hinter der Fichte" (From Behindthe Spruce) as part ofMainSlam x Villa Rothschild.
Under the tongue-in-cheek motto "An Evening in the Forest," Flemming invites the audience on a journey of discovery that is both personal and social. In his program, he talks about his origins in the Ore Mountains—a region shaped by mining, traditions, and, last but not least, many, many spruce trees. Between home and departure, self-image and external perception, a cleverly composed monologue unfolds about origin, identity, and belonging.
Withsubtle humor, poetic sharpness, andplenty of irony, Flemming reflects on timeless themes of our time: social friction, inner conflicts, and the question of how much our roots shape us—or constrain us. His unique perspective as a psychologist lends the evening additional depth without losing the lightheartedness of the stage format.
With its extraordinary ambience,Villa Rothschildoffers the ideal setting for this literary cabaret premiere and underlines its claim to be a place for creative salon culture, new voices, and special formats. During the event in Villa Rothschild's Tizian Bar, guests are also welcome to experience the gastronomic side of Villa Rothschild. Drinks from the diverse bar menu and food from the snack menu are not included in the ticket price of €21.
