When it comes to combining wordplay, stage energy, and pitch-black humor into one complete package, Daniel Wagner is the man. Born in Basel, Switzerland, in 1984, he grew up in Lörrach and has been living in Heidelberg since 2005. There, he actually studied German language and literature, history, and Latin—yes, really. In 2007, he began performing at poetry slams. A lot has happened since then. He is a record finalist in the German-language Poetry Slam Championships, has been state champion three times and German-language runner-up twice. In his solo program "Das ganze Paket" (The Whole Package), Daniel Wagner brings exactly what his audience loves to the stage. Entertaining, dark, bitter satire meets cheerful, happy nonsense. Served on a syllable platter of outrageous jokes and insane word juggling. Taboo-free, cheeky, amusing. A massage for the cerebellum's large-capacity cortex. Word games for the world.
