Naturally lit, tranquil and charming, the Alstersalon’s presentation makes getting up in the morning more than worthwhile, letting you begin your daily journey on the right path.

The freshness of the morning and the waters of the lake are reflected into the room by the many mirrors and are captured by the light wooden elements and green tones on the walls and ceiling, and in the fabrics. Floral accents that tell of exotic destinations and the view through the large windows of the Alster, combine with the ‘venturing out into the world’ concept to form a complete picture.

Cast off and embark on a unique maritime discovery tour. Those simply curious to see the new Atlantic Bar will be welcomed by a cosmopolitan feel and charismatic spirit. And those wishing to discover international cocktails, classic drinks and new interpretations will also be immersed in the relaxed yet imposing atmosphere of a noble, all-day bar with Hanseatic feeling. Fine culinary delights are available, of course, to accompany the drinks too.

Hamburg embodies the urge to travel to distant lands. In the Atlantic Bar, interior features such as the historic barrel vaults or the elegant coffered ceiling with hand-carved stucco elements are carefully presented with a floor reminiscent of a ship’s deck. Dark blue, iconic armchairs emit a comfortable, maritime atmosphere, while the bold red, velour carpet, handmade in Hamburg, adds a bold contrast. The rest is history – travel history, created, experienced and sometimes recounted by the visitors to the bar.

Experience the British tradition in the sophisticated Grand Hotel lobby. Tea biscuits, sandwich corners with roast beef, scones with clotted cream and fresh jams, as well as a champagne aperitif await you.
